some redesign updates

I have been toiling away trying to get my new custom theme finished before the February 5th deadline and so far it has not been going so great. I found a color scheme at kuler called Chemical Crime that I been trying to use for the color theme of the site. I am just trying to figure out the best way for what elements get styled with what color. I sort of have a very rough work in progress right now of what I did so far. I am not very happy with the way the background came out. However I am happy with the way the header is looking so far. I am trying to go with a Distressed look. I am getting kind of sick of all the glossy/shiny web 2.0 look and want to try something different.

Let’s try this again

I have come to the realization today that I really need to start getting serious about getting into better shape. I am pretty sick and tired of feeling like shit all the time. I really need to start doing something about it. I know before I said that I was going to do the C25k program. I am going to start giving this another shot. I am also going to start taking steps to eat better as well. To help keep me motivated I have created a profile at Traineo and will keep it updated.

C25k Week 1 Day 1

I finished the first day of the Couch to 5k program. I was able to make it through the entire 20 minutes and felt like i had a good work out. I been running/walking around the block for the entire time and other then the fact i was sweaty as hell, i felt pretty good. I am going to start tracking my weight on a weekly basis and will post my weight on the first day of every new week.

Goals

Holy crap its been almost a month since I last posted on this thing. I really need to start writing more.

I decided that I am going to try the The Couch-to-5K Running Plan and document my progress. I really need to start exercising more and get into better shape. I already have started to cut out all the crap i been eating and drinking mostly water while i am work. Next step would be to start getting more active. So starting today I am going to start this program and see if I can stick with it.
