May 25, 2008 I did some work on my webhost today. I retired the wedding site and nuked the wordpress instance that I was running for it. It was never updated and well…its been over a year since we been married. I felt it was time to take it down. I got the domain name pointed to the blog for now and I am not going to re- register it next year. I also nuked the gallery2 install on here as well. I moved the wedding photo gallery to a picasaweb gallery instead.
Speaking of galleries, I have pictures of our house being built. The gallery can be found here

May 19, 2008 I been reading Zen Habits for awhile now, I think I found out about them through Lifehacker while reading through their RSS feeds. One of the interesting things I read on Leo’s website was in order to start a new good habit, you need to do it every day for 30 days (or something like that!) in order to incorporate it into your routine. My first challenge is I want to be able to get up at 5am, this in turn will give me more time in the morning to work on personal projects, do homework, etc. Right now my alarm goes off at 6 am and starting tomorrow I am going to set it at 5:45 am and after each week, dial it back 15 minutes till I hit the magical 5 am mark. This is going to be during the work week and not on the weekends. I set up a Google calenderto track my progress and make it public.

May 19, 2008 I did some site updates this morning. I upgraded Akismet to the latest and greatest version. I also upgraded the Livejournal crosspost plugin to the latest version that supports WP 2.5.x. I also upgraded wordpress to 2.5.1.
For my next trick I need to clean up my web space a little bit. I want to nuke my gallery 2 install and move my gallery’s to something like flickr or picasaweb. I also have a second wordpress install running for amanda and I’s wedding site. I think it’s about time to retire it, we have been married for over a year now.
All work being done on my custom theme have ground to a halt. Between work, school, and house I have little time for anything extra right now. I do not know when I will get a chance to work on it.
