The Great Linux Experiment

Now that I got my laptop back up and in somewhat running shape (still have some RAM issues to deal with). I am going to start a new project, I call it “The Great Linux Experiment”. Right now we are living with my in-laws while our house is being built. Because we do not have a lot of room for my full desktop computer setup, I been using my trusty IBM Thinkpad T42 (type 2378 for those of you interested) as my main machine. I really want to start using linux more on the desktop side of things instead of just on the server side. So now I have Kubuntu 7.04 installed on my Thinkpad and will be using it full time. I’ll keep updates as to how I am doing things I used to do in windows but now I am doing in linux.
