In NYC this week
March 27, 2007 Work decided that I needed to go to Manhattan this week to help out with some stuff for the local division. At first I wasn’t too excited about that, but on the flip side I never been to NYC before and it was nice to get out of the office for a week. I met up with the guy I am going to be working with from Charlotte and we hit the town last night. We stopped at Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Company last night for dinner. It was right on Time’s Square right across the street from where Good Morning America broadcasts from. We ate a ton of shrimp and I got one of those take home glasses from ordering a 22oz beer. After that we hit the subway and wandered around the NYC. Our first stop was the Time Warner Center, then we walked by where they tape the Tonight Show, we stopped at Ground Zero and checked out where the Trade Center used to be, and ended up near the Staten Island Ferry. Next couple of days we will more then likely be working our asses off getting as much shit down by Friday when we have to leave. Hopefully we will get some more time to do some more wandering around the city, I would like to check out Chinatown at some point. Time to get ready for work.
