July 21, 2006 Just read a pretty interesting article about Universal Selectors this morning. I always wondered what the asterix was called and what it’s function was in CSS. Now i know and will start using it more often instead of writing huge pages of CSS.
July 17, 2006 I found a pretty interesting article today via Lifehacker about the creator of GoDaddy.com Bob Parson who wrote his own 16 rules to live by. After reading the entire article I feel somewhat inspired. Lately I have been pretty down in the dumps struggling with trying to find a new job (again) and other real life issues. So what I am going to do is going to try and follow these rules myself and focusf. I am at the point where I am sick and tired of being pissed off all the time and acting like a victim (is that even the correct way to describe that?) of circumstance. From this point forward I am going to work on making things happen instead of watching the world go by. Not exactly sure how I am to go about doing it, but half the fun is going to be learning how to do it.
July 10, 2006 I been pretty busy and haven’t really had the time to blog much. I hope to be changing that soon. I did some tweaks to the site, mostly with just the categories. I changed a couple around and made 3 new categories: webdev, perl and C#. Those will be mostly used to blog about cool stuff i learned while trying to learn them. I also wanted to change to a different theme for a bit while i work on my new custom one for the site. However most of the themes i liked break horribly for some reason when i load them up. Either i am getting php errrors or javascript wierdness (damn you AJAX). I figure by the time i find out and fix what broke i could have finished my own.
