December 29, 2005 Well i went ahead and upgraded to Wordpress 2.0. There has been a ton of things redone on the backend. So far i am really digging the admin interface, its pretty slick. I really need to get around and hack together a custom template for this site. Now to fire up Fireworks and cook something up.
EDIT: because of the amount of comment spam that was in the database before i started using spam karma i just ended up nuking all of my comments and started with a clean slate. IT was too much of a hassle to just kill all the junk that was in there.

December 27, 2005 Well i hope everyone had a great Christmas, I know Amanda and I did. I got a ton of clothes, enough PS2 games to last me for awhile, a radar detector and some new sunglasses. However the biggest thing that happened this Christmas is that I proposed to Amanda and she said yes!!! So she now is my fiance!!! We are both very excited and happy, now the fun part is going to be planning everything for a wedding.

December 19, 2005 Well its official, I just wrapped up my last semester at ECC. Almost three years of school is done and now I have a degree. The funny thing is I don’t really feel different. Only thing I realized is that I will have extra money every month to pay off bills and I won’t have to worry about tests and homework. Do I think it was worth it? Sure it might help me get a better job in the future and I learned alot of other things besides academic stuff.
Now that school is over I need to work on something that has been causing me grief for awhile now. Lately I haven’t felt motivated to work on anything. By anything I mean, doing anything Linux related, web development related, etc. Maybe it’s just burnout from school, or maybe I am just sick of failure on this end of things. I just don’t get the joy and wow feeling I used to get while learning new things. I keep saying I want to work on all these projects. However the motivation just isn’t there anymore. Will this change in the future? I don’t know, I guess it depends on me.
