Seasons Greetings

Well i hope everyone had a awesome turkey day, i know i did. Things have been pretty busy at Adelphia. Still learning the ropes and i am now starting to get the hang of a few things. This is the first job in a while where it wasnt focused on IT. Sure i work with Solaris and Cisco gear with some other stuff, but i am not in a IT position per se, It actually feels kind of wierd. That was all i been doing for the past five years.

We finally gout our Tivo shipped to us on Saturday. Awhile ago JC Penny had a promotion with Dockers and Tivo. If you buy $100 dollars worth of Dockers from JCPenny’s you get a free 40 hour DVR with 3 months service, so we jumped on it. I figure when the three months are up i will have my benefits at Adelphia and end up getting a DVR through work for a fraction of the cost of Tivo service. Will give the unit to one of our parents after that.

Worked on Christmas shopping saturday with Glenn, while Amanda and her Mom went shopping. I got my parents and my brother done. I also got Amanda one of her gifts, i still need to get her a few more things ;)

I hope to writing some more soon, school is almost over and i will have some more free time. I want to start working on some more projects and blog about them. Stay tuned!
