Well i worked on my project a little bit last night while i was at work.
I went and installed apache-ssl, libapache-mod-dav, got mod_dav up and running with the help of chong from #linux. It’s working to a point where i can publish a calendar to the server. For some reason though i can’t subscribe to a calendar already on the server, it just gives me a 404.
It’s a little rough right now but what they have done with it so far is pretty neat. With some more bug fixes and polishing it can be a killer calendar app. Especially if are using it in thunderbird as an extension.
