June 30, 2004 So i ended up getting Need for Speed: Underground the other day for the PS2. I traded in a few games i never play anymore twards it instead of them collecting dust on my shelf. So far i reall enjoying it, granted its got a ton of Rice in it, but i honestly dont care. The only thing that matters is that *I* enjoy playing it. I needed something more fast paced to play when i need a break from Disgea and Grand Turismo 4 isnt going to be out till August (goddamit!).
I’m also starting to get the itch to start coding PHP projects again after helping out a buddy of mine with some PHP questions. I really shouldn’t because i am still in the process of trying to learn Perl and I am also thinking of playing around with C# at the same time. In all honesty i dont know why i am bothering, i know whats going to happen. I’ll start playing around with a language trying to learn how to program. Then i’ll either get frustrated or bored and stop playing with it all together.

June 29, 2004 Well i got an email with the group that i registered for my CCNA with. It appears that the site i had chosen to take it at is moving and i need to call them up and reschedule for some place else. In a way this is a good thing because i was thinking of moving my exam time to something a little bit less early in the morning. Hopefully i can find some place close i can take it too. I spoke with my buddy Aaron from school who also took the exam, he ended up passing. He also told me that i should be able to pass the exam no problem, but i am going to still study my ass off till the end. I hope i can still get something on Friday, i just want to be over and done with it for now.

June 23, 2004 Test is next Friday and here is where i am at with it right now. I been taking 2 different practice tests for the past week or so and re-reading chapters that i need to focus on. So far i am just about the point where i can barely pass if i am lucky. The thing that’s really screwing me right now is all the wide area crap like Frame-Relay, ISDN, and PPP. I think i had more of a tough time with this then with CIDR/VLSM. So for maybe the next couple of days i am going to read the chapters and get it fresh in my mind.
I think after i finish this and if i pass the exam, i am going to start working on the CCDA. It would be cool if i can get that done by the time school starts back up again. After that point i dont know if i want to start working twards the CCNP track or maybe switch gears and pursue a Linux cert like the LPI or RHCE. I really really want to go for the RHCE but dropping $700 on a test that i might not pass is not a very good feeling, expecially when that one is going to be funded from my own pocket.
