Yeap thank god its Friday, this week has been long and sucky. I just want it to end.
Work
For a change i was productive at work tonight. I sent out a few emails that ineed to get sent out. Fixed up the unix srver space monitoring document and sent out a rough draft to the group, hopefully i can push it out Monday. Fixed my mail rules, the idiots in Clifton started messing around with their email scripts and i had to redo a few of my mail rules because of it. I also pitched the idea of moving our documentation from just word docs sitting on a shared drive to Solution Builder. So that way we have all our docs in one spot and can be searched. The boss man has to meat with the engineer that handles it and see if we can get something rolling.

Found out that maybe my laptop battery isnt shot to hell like i thought. It held a charge longer then 15 minutes last night. Now i won’t have to drop $150 for a new battery just yet. I been thinking about getting a new laptop soon, i really been looking at the IBM thinkpads and want a T series really bad. Only problem is that the Thinkpads are $bling$ atleast for a T series, i also was checking out the R series as an alternative, or maybe a Fujitsu S series. But its going to be awhile before i can get one.
I also started cracking down on learning Perl again. I been trying to read atleast a chapter a day and do the exercises that are in the book. So far so good and been keeping with it. Then when i get pretty decent again, i am going to apply it for some Openview+perl kung-fu shit.
I’m just about done with 2 of my PS2 games. Been on the final stretch for both Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy X. Hopefully i can get Kingdom Hearts done and out of the way this weekend. After that i can focus on getting FFX done and start playing FFX-2. I also need to start playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, i been taking too long of a break from that, plus there are 2 more games i want to get for the GBA. I dont want to get them till i am down with FFTA
