I survived Rochester 2003

Whoa boy did i have a good weekend, i really needed that bad. This weekend was the official arslcan/arstechnica meet in Rochester NY. ITs were geeks and gamers from across the country converge in Rochester to get completely drunk off their asses and have a good time. Got to try out a few new different kind’s of beer and mixed drinks this time around. One of the coolest things i had this weekend was this Cherry Wheat beer. It has the normal beer tastes with this cherry after taste to it, and i am not talking about the cough syrup cherry taste either. The other thing that was pretty good was an Irish Carbomb. You take a glass of Guiness and drop a shot of Bailey’s into it and down it. In addition to the drinking was much game playing. Both the Gamecube and the Xbox got alot of play this weekend. The games of choice was Sega Soccer Slam, Super Smash Brothers, Soul Calibur 2 for the cube and some Rally race game for the Xbox. So all in all a good time was had by all
