no i am not dead!
May 23, 2003 Just been enjoying my lovely vacation, which means i am not on the computer as much. So far its been pretty great, i got to see my hunny pretty much everyday this week -Went and saw The Matrix: Reloaded. God damn that was an awesome movie, I really like how they went into how the matric works more. I also enjoyed how they introduced some concepts in the movie as far as the matrix itself goes. I’ll have to watch the animatrix when that comes out to get some more of the back story. -Went to Stigelmeyer(sp?) Park on sunday. Walked around the various trails and took some cool pictures. I’ll have them posted at some point. -Got the car fixed again, now you dont actually here me comming down the street from a mile away. I had to get the exhaust system from the converter back replaced. Which cost me 240 dollars to get done (grrrr), but atleast it drives and sounds better. -Went to the Niagara Falls Aquarium and the Buffalo Botanical Gardens on Weds. -Amanda and I are going to see Bruse Almighty tomorrow night. I’ll type up a small review after we see it. Some more things on the good news side is I heard from a friend of mine today. I have talked to her in awhile and i guess my mom delivered a package to her this afternoon. She found out that Kelly (my friend) just got a job as an Assistant District Attorny for one of the counties around here. I’m really grateful for her, she worked really hard to get where she is now. From what i heard they got a house out there and are in the process of moving out there. I guess they really didnt give her a whole lot of time. But i guess she will manage. Also found out that Amanda’s sister got offered a teaching job in Maryland. Amanda thinks that she might take it if the money is right. If i was here i would get the hell out of Buffalo and New York all together. Especially now when Buffalo Schools are cutting 10% of their workforce.
Also had some ups and downs this week which i’ll recap here briefly.
with Amanda. We had a good time and saw some really cool stuff, we took a great deal of pictures at the gardens. I’ll get them up at some point as well.
We really didnt take much at the Aquarium, didnt really see anything that was picture worthy. I dont know if it is me or something but it seemed like it wasnt as big as it used to be. It just seemed like there was a ton of things in there to look at before. Enough things that you can spend a few hours there checking everything out. Kinda like the same way i felt when i went ot the science musiem.
