April 29, 2003 Just a quick update, not going to post too much. Havent really had the chance or motivation to work on anything lately. Just kinda been in a slump, i think its due to the fact that school is almost done and i am burned out. In a way it kinda sucks, I have a ton of things i want to do but no motivation to do it. I still want to work on a redesign for the site, I still want to redesign a few others, I want to work on my PHP-Fu, and the list goes on and on. I just hope i can break out of this slump soon.

April 24, 2003 Today was a pretty productive day so far. I managed to get my ass out of bed and showered early this morning. After that i moved some files off the laptop and started the install of RH9. While that was going i put a few loads of laundry in and started doing over the AAII journals Bill hooked me up with. After that i grabbed some lunch, worked on some more laundry and finished up setting the laptop back up…hell i even got a game of Generals in (w00t) so know i gotta get one load out and get dinner got tonight together and then i am out. Erik and I are going work on some HTML stuff tonight at work for the new way he is doing the job flows, which should be interesting. Well i need to run so i can get ready for work. I’ll post more later when i get home or get time at work

April 23, 2003 YEa so i am sitting blasting some Dub Pistols doing some work around the room. I started up a load of laundry so i have some clean clothes till this weekend. One of the things i hate about living at home right now is the fact that clothes disappear from my room. I dont own a huge wardrobe and most of the stuff i wear is what i ware for work (buisness casual). I would like to shift the blame to my shithead brother who has more clothes then god, but still for some reasons still feels the need to gank my shit. When that heppens it disappears into the bermuda bedroom of his, I am still missing a few polo shirts 
I just have to bid my time till i am done with school and have the cash flow to move out on my own, then i wont have to deal with it anymore.
Some other stuff i got done was tranferred all my crap from my old couier bag to the one Amanda gave me. The one i used to have i got from Aeropostal about 6 years ago. It has served me well but it was beat to hell and falling apart. So Amanda gave me one that she had in college, but couldnt use because it was too big for her (shes a shorty 
).
I started working on the layout for the one site using mspaint, here is what i have so far I think i am going to start coding it tonight at work if i have some free time, or wait till i get home. I also saw something cool that i wanted to do, if you go to microsoft’s support site and look on the left hand side. Now if you click on the arrows that are in the corner of the boxes they fold up. I really would like do that with the side panel with all the links. Another thing i would like to do and i seen it on a few blogs is make the comments not popup into a new window, but it you click on the comment it just expands out the entry for comments. One example is go to Elle’s site and see how she has the comments setup, thats what i want to do.
Man i found the device that i want to get, I really really want a Zaurus SL 5500 PDA. I seen a refabbed one at Tigerdirect for $200, I been holding off the temptation to use the CC to get it. I figure that i’ll have the extra cash for it around the end of next month baring nothing bad happens.
Well enough rambling for now, i need to shower and get cleaned up, going to meet Amanda for lunch, we are going to get some greek food

April 21, 2003 Nothing to big, i just played around with the side panel a bit. I added a new section called “people” with links to friends websites. Plus i added some more sites to the links section. I also need to get cracking, i have a few peojects that i wanted to do or been in the process of working on but never finished. I would like to do some customizing of this site, work on redoing 2 of Amanda’s fathers sites, work on getting my PHP and DHTLM-fu up there, get the mountain bike fixed, get 30+ gigs of MP3s cleaned up and sorted. I think i am going to call it an early night tonight so i can get up early tomorrow and start working on getting the list done. I’m going to start comming up with a new layout on the sites while i am here at work, then start coding when i get up in the morning. Looks like its about time i start getting some use out of the test.grid7.org subdomain

April 20, 2003 Well Nick and I made our journey to Toronto Thursday night to see mister Armin Van Buuren! One thing i need to say is The Guverenment is prolly the best club i have EVAR been in. It destroy’s anything we have down here in Buffalo, then again Toronto is 10 times larger (rough estimate). Too bad Nick and I had a hell of a time finding the place. After driving around for about an hour and asking for directions twice we finally found it. After parking and waiting in line for a bit we went got into the place, We wandered around for a bit to get our bearings and find out where the KOOL HAUS part was. After finding it we just kinda chilled for a bit and listened to the one of the opening DJs. I didnt catch his name but i believe he was spinning house music, which we didnt really care for. After that guy spun his set a DJ by the name of Steve Lawler came on. Man he was good, he spun a 3 hour set that totally rocked. From the track selections down the technical stuff, I would highly recommend seeing him if you get a chance. Now as far as Armin’s set, I will have to paraphrase this from Nick a little bit.. “He was not there spinning records, he was up there putting on a show” which i will have to agree with him. He keep the crowd pumped, smiled, goofed off, let people take pictures of him, and generally looked like he was having the time of his life. I reconized quite a few of the tracks he dropped during his set, some were alot of oldies but goodies. All in all i would defintly recommend that you check him out if you get a chance.
Some other thoughts I had on the nights events that i wanted to share are the following. I noticed that people were generally cool at the club, I must have met atleast 5 people over the course of the night. I would be sitting there chilling and they would just come up and start shooting the shit with you out of the blue. That’s something i am not used to, I dont know if thats normal i dont get out to the local clubs that often, they dont play any of the music i listen too and they just seem to suck.
Also they way people looked I found rather amusing. I was expecting to see alot of rave kiddies representing in full effect…man was i wrong. Lets just say that it was a borg’s wetdream at the place. All the guys looked the same and all the chicks looked the same. Most of the guys had the Brad Pitt Fight Club look going for them. Messed up short hair, sleeveless t-shirts (not wifebeaters) and ripped up or bleached jeans. The woman all pretty much looked the same as well, with slight variations. All i can say was i felt pretty out of place with brown cargo pants, a blue stripped poloshirt, blue airwalks and my spitfire hat heh.
Today (well yesterday now) was Easter Sunday, where JC rose from the dead and went to heaven (iirc). Or if you’re not the religious type, a bunny comes around with a load of candy in baskets (where we got them from is beyond me) and hooks up people everywhere. Today was a good day for me, the Easter Amanda got me a basket loaded with goodies. Plus i got a chocolate rabbit from her parents. Also went over to my aunts house to commit unspeakable acts of gluttony on the homemade ravolis(sp?). Afterwards we made a follow up trip to my grandparents place (dad’s side) to say hi to everyone. All in all it was a good day, except for the fact that the sentra is going to need some exhaust system work done (FUCK). Its sounds a little bit on the loud side and i hear a rattling noise. Sounds like something got out of whack. I swear ever since i got the car, every year around this time i need to sink a shit load of money into to get it fixed. But its mostly been maintainence things that normally need to be done on the car.
Well off to bed, Amanda is waiting for me…cant keep a girl waiting
